| Gold Medal Models has reached an agreement with General Quarters Decals and is now carrying their superb B-25 decals in 1/350 scale on a limited basis. The markings are intended for the bombers included with Trumpeter's 1/350 scale USS Hornet WW2 aircraft carrier kit. These decals are printed by Cartograf of Italy and of the very highest quality. NOTE: THESE ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO DEALERS!
The decal provides full color markings for all 16 B-25 bombers of the 1942 Doolittle raid on Tokyo as carried by the USS Hornet (CV-8), including national insignia in two sizes, "U.S. ARMY" for the underside of the wings, red propeller warning stripes, all 16 tail numbers in yellow, complete and accurate nose art, and even Hamilton Standard markings for the propellers. Extra markings are also provided in case of accident or loss. A full-color instruction sheet is included which provides historical data on the aircraft markings as well as information on proper positioning of each marking.
